Synopsis

Produced by Bill Lichtenstein and June Peoples of the Peabody Award-winning Lichtenstein Creative Media, *West 47th Street* is a documentary film offering an intimate cinéma vérité portrait of four individuals living with serious mental illness. The film follows their lives as they naturally unfold over three years, beginning in the spring of 2001. All the characters are members of Fountain House, a psychiatric rehabilitation program situated on West 47th Street in a section of New York City onc
