Synopsis

*Flag Wars* offers a moving exploration of the political complexities and human cost of gentrification. In Columbus, Ohio, Black residents of working-class backgrounds struggle to maintain their homes amidst a changing landscape. For real estate agents and affluent, gay homebuyers, these homes represent opportunities for renovation and investment. The ensuing conflicts reveal ingrained prejudice and self-serving motives on all sides, alongside the shared aspiration for a place of belonging.
