Synopsis

Buster’s encounter with Justin, a remarkably gifted ten-year-old with talents spanning acting, music, and athletics, sparks an idea. He resolves to produce a documentary for *Before They Were Stars*. Camera in hand, Buster journeys to meet Justin's extended family, and together they explore the historic landscapes of Charleston and St. Helena Island, places deeply connected to Justin’s family’s Gullah heritage.
