Synopsis

A disappearance from the doctor’s office – a bottle of medication – stirred unease in Harry Grout, who feared an inquiry into the theft by the prison authorities would expose certain aspects of his operations. He was emphatic that Fletcher retrieve the pills and return them swiftly, before the guards could intervene.
