Synopsis

Ross felt compelled to return to the capital by a desperate plea from Ned Despard, his former army colonel. London greeted him with an atmosphere of pervasive suspicion, and Ross resolved to free Ned from the conspiracy that had led to his imprisonment. He arrived in London to find the city gripped by paranoia, determined to save Ned from the machinations that bound him.
