Synopsis

In Cornwall, Demelza struggles against the decline of a mine while attempting to mend the fractured heart of Drake. Dwight and Caroline celebrate the arrival of their newborn daughter. Meanwhile, Ossie cares for a dying parishioner, and George throws a lavish party at Trenwith. The Warleggans refuse to yield, facing challenges from Parliament, and the family confronts hardship and resilience in equal measure.
