Synopsis

The heroes arrived at Ever Grande City, the location for the Hoenn League. At May's urging, they set out to find a noodle shop, but were instead ambushed by a flock of Murkrow. Just then, a Meowth, distinguished by a jaunty hat and boots, intervened, scattering the birds with swift attacks. Its trainer, Tyson, greeted the group, adding that he too was competing in the League. He further revealed that he carried the Moltres flame, a prize coveted by Team Rocket.
