Synopsis

May’s Combusken manages to regain control of its Fire Spin attack. By a stroke of fortune, May advances to the next round, facing Kelly and then Josaphine. In the final round, Kelly challenges May, who employs a strategy designed to counter Grumpig's psychic abilities. Just as Grumpig and Combusken are about to be defeated, May performs a gesture of honor. Meanwhile, Ash misses the competition to assist his Swellow in mastering Aerial Ace.
