Synopsis

Traveling to May’s first contest in Slateport City, Ash and his companions journeyed across the sea by motorboat. Their voyage was interrupted when Team Rocket’s latest attempt to steal Pikachu failed, and the vessel sputtered to a halt. Adrift, they spotted a large, derelict ship and, drawn by the sight of a smaller boat nearby, decided to explore its interior.
