Synopsis

During his ongoing training, Ash, accompanied by May, Max, and Brock, crosses paths with Professor Birch. Separately, a young boy's Nincada has been captured by Team Rocket, and in its desperate attempt to escape, it digs a tunnel leading to an ancient temple.
