Synopsis

Venturing into Dewford Island's interior, Ash and his companions discover a cavernous opening. Max identifies it as Granite Cave, and they proceed inside. A hidden pit trap, cleverly laid by Team Rocket, soon ensnares them all. The fall separates the two groups, leaving Ash and his friends unexpectedly mingled with their adversaries. Now three distinct factions exist: Ash, Brock, and James comprise the male contingent; May and Jessie form the female group; and Max, Pikachu, and Meowth constitute
