Synopsis

Ash’s Electrium Z-crystal has vanished. Inspired by an Alolan detective program he admires, Rotom resolves to locate it, enlisting Pikachu as his assistant. Meanwhile, Ash and the other students are consumed with preventing Kiawe, the sole remaining Z-ring bearer, from discovering the loss, fearing his wrath. But the truth behind the missing crystal may prove more unexpected than anyone anticipates. Rotom gains a novel function for his video camera.
