Synopsis

At the Pastoria Gym, Ash proposes a three-on-three battle to Crasher Wake, fielding Pikachu, Turtwig, and Buizel against Wake's Gyarados, Quagsire, and Floatzel. A mishap occurs when Pikachu inadvertently shocks Buizel, sparking a heated argument that complicates Ash’s strategy. However, the dispute quickly resolves itself as it’s revealed Buizel had actually shielded Pikachu from the electric attack. With the tension diffused, Ash prevails over Wake, earning the coveted Fen Badge.
