Synopsis

Gardenia returned to the town, orchestrating a unique exhibition battle designed for the local children. For the contest, she partnered with James of Team Rocket, facing off against Ash and Dawn. She suggested that James entrust his Cacnea to her for training, a chance to maximize the Pokémon's potential when he couldn't utilize it effectively. After some consideration, James agreed to her proposal.
