Synopsis

Upon reaching Hearthome City, Ash and Brock find themselves unexpectedly engaged in a tag battle. Brock's discovery that the Gym Leader was absent, neglecting their usual duty to challenge aspiring Trainers, prompted the impromptu contest. Simultaneously, Dawn participates in the Hearthome City Pokémon Contest, facing competition from Nando, Zoey, and Jessilina. Yet, she soon encounters a disheartening turn of events.
