Synopsis

A thrill shot through Ash as he spotted and caught a Caterpie – his very first Pokémon. Elation filled him, but Misty recoiled. She harbored a particular distaste for Bug-types and was thoroughly disgusted by the creature's friendly gestures. Later that night, while Ash and Misty slept, Caterpie confided in Pikachu, sharing its dream of transforming into a Butterfree.
