The transition to climate-friendly transportation sees diesel buses in rural areas yielding to electric alternatives. Yet, across significant portions of the Netherlands, public transport is becoming less viable, rendering a car almost indispensable for mobility. The efficacy of these green buses is then called into question when car dependency grows. With cars, rarely electric, increasingly filling the void, how can we truly establish public transport as a comprehensive alternative?
