Synopsis

Alan, Josh's father, carries a heavy burden of guilt regarding his ex-wife's current difficulties. Consequently, he makes a point of stopping at the corner store to deliver his younger girlfriend, Mae, before visiting Josh at their shared home. He does this out of a concern that his presence might cause distress to Rose.
