Synopsis

Nasse tells Mirai that he has been designated a "God candidate." Of the thirteen chosen, only one will be selected to succeed the current God. Mirai is initially incredulous, but resolves to begin building a life of contentment. Yet, his newfound hope is soon shadowed by the news of another God candidate’s death, shrouded in mystery. Adding to the unsettling atmosphere, a new candidate, calling himself Metropoliman, makes a dramatic appearance during a televised bank robbery.
