Synopsis

The blow to his head sent Jinks reeling, and darkness consumed him. When he awoke, a voice, strangely dispassionate, echoed in his mind: *Be agreeable to Pixie and Dixie, if you wish to ascend.* He conceded to the demand, but soon discovered that kindness was a far steeper and more agonizing path than he had imagined.
