Mother and Father departed, leaving Pingu seated at the table with his painting, still incomplete. He fetched some water and finished it with strokes of blue, followed by orange. As he admired his handiwork, a blob of orange paint detached from the brush and landed on the tabletop. Attempting to remove it only worsened the situation, spreading the mess onto his chair as well.
