Synopsis

In Rome, a group of friends seek evening diversion. Amidst the city’s vibrant pulse, romantic pursuits are attempted, games of chance are played, and lives are irrevocably altered. A seemingly ordinary night takes a dark turn when a sudden death shatters the camaraderie of those involved. This episode was recognized by TV Guide in 1997 as one of the greatest television episodes ever produced, ranking ninety-sixth on their list of the "100 Greatest Episodes of All Time."
