Synopsis

Walter Brock, played by James Coburn, makes an unexpected appearance, seeking out his son, Jimmy. He proposes that Jimmy assume leadership of his law firm. This proposition stirs up years of unspoken resentment between father and son. Jimmy finally confesses the truth: he abandoned his legal studies because he felt incapable of meeting his father's exacting standards.
