Synopsis

Betty Jo was writing checks with alarming speed, outpacing Steve’s deposits into their account. They reached an agreement: Betty Jo would refrain from spending any money for a month. What she neglected to mention to Steve was that she had already acquired a remarkably long sofa from Agnew's Furniture Store for one hundred dollars. The difficulty lay in the fact that the sofa simply wouldn’t fit within their cramped living room without demolition, and it had been sold as a final sale item. Kate m
