Synopsis

A telegram arrived for Steve, carried on the familiar script of his old flying companion, Max Donohue. Max was proposing a business partnership in Cascade Valley, an invitation Steve felt compelled to decline. Kate, ever observant, suggested that Max might find opportunity in Hooterville, though Steve knew such a notion was impractical – a truth he kept unspoken. Unbeknownst to him, Uncle Joe dispatched his own telegram to Max, extending an offer to relocate and join Carson-Elliott Enterprises.
