Synopsis

Sheriff Crandall of Pixley was departing for a fishing trip, and Uncle Joe arranged with Sam, the valley’s justice of the peace, to lodge kleptomaniac Eustace Pockle at the hotel. Kate voiced her disapproval of the plan, yet conceded to Eustace's presence.
