Synopsis

A pervasive jealousy would soon settle over the Shady Rest Hotel. After Tommy Johnson reluctantly canceled his plans to take Bobbie Jo to the turnabout dance due to a prior engagement, Billie Jo, still estranged from Steve following a recent quarrel, considered him available. Steve readily accepted Bobbie Jo’s invitation. Just as Tommy informed her that his previous commitment had vanished and he could now attend, she found herself obliged to decline him, already having secured a date with Steve
