Synopsis

Billie Jo expressed a desire to leave the hotel and find an apartment in Pixley. Kate consistently refused. Eventually, Kate relented, but only under the condition that she approve both the location and the landlord. She had conceded, believing no suitable apartment existed in Pixley. Yet, Billie Jo discovered a place that satisfied Kate’s requirements. After a few days, Billie Jo declared her love for the independence it afforded her, even acknowledging that some comforts were still lacking. Ho
