Synopsis

Hinky Mittenfloss, the newly appointed dog catcher, was relentlessly pursuing Dog. Now convinced that Dog was responsible for the loss of three of Luther Craig’s chickens, Hinky took him to the County Dog Pound, where he faced a grim prospect. Kate, Betty Jo, and Uncle Joe sought counsel from lawyer Melvin Randall. Melvin assured them that Kate possessed the skill to argue the case before a judge.
