Synopsis

Uncle Joe, lacking any official position himself, is determined to become Mayor of Hooterville. The prospect appeals to him largely because it would guarantee an all-expenses-paid trip to the state capitol for the mayors’ convention, along with a complimentary haircut. Sam, Charley, and Floyd believe having a mayor might not be so terrible after all, but insist that the position should be filled through election.
