Synopsis

Uncle Joe had been diverting Kate’s funds, using them to purchase large quantities of cheap, powerfully scented men's and women's cologne with the intention of quickly reselling it for profit. The money was earmarked for installing screens at the hotel, a measure designed to prevent mosquitoes from disturbing paying guests. Kate, however, devised a plan to offload the entire stock to salesmen Mr. Blake and Mr. Gordon, who intended to market it as an insecticide.
