Synopsis

The search for Janet and Ulrich revealed a grim emptiness: all their provisions had vanished. Locating the pair offered little comfort; they found themselves reliant on Ulrich, only to discover they were ultimately left to fend for themselves. Separately, Kat and Renbe gleaned vital information from a medical examiner, a thread that pulled them inexorably closer to the enigmatic "Program."
