The news of his Alzheimer's diagnosis landed on Agâh Beyoğlu like a blow. A strange sense of liberation bloomed within him; the fading of his memory presented a chance to finally enact a murder he had meticulously planned for years, a deed …
Agâh's crime was not an isolated act, but the opening link in a sequence of killings. Nevra discovers a note on the body, bearing her name. The revelation halts her plans to leave her position.
A significant shared element will become apparent between Nevra and Agâh: both are currently entangled in inquiries that have led to fruitless paths.
