Persona presents itself as a series of four self-contained stories, an anthology examining themes like love, regret, who we are, and what we’ve lost, with each segment presenting IU in very different portrayals. The initial installment, Love Set, doesn't quite feel as unified as the others; however, episodes such as Collector and Walking at Night provide a considerable amount of emotional resonance, impactful symbolism, and performances that stick with you. Combining psychological examination with storytelling presented in a poetic style, Persona ultimately becomes an unsettling look into the various aspects residing within a single person’s being.
