Synopsis

The year was 1933. In the aftermath of the Dodson trial, Perry found himself adrift, relying on Della's support to hold the law firm together. Meanwhile, Paul accepted a position from an unexpected benefactor. Brooks McCutcheon, a man of ill-repute in the oil business, enlisted Detective Holcomb in a scheme to fundamentally alter the course of Los Angeles.
