Synopsis

After delivering one of her characteristic fiery sermons, Evangelical preacher Sister Alice extends the church’s complete moral and financial backing to the Dodsons, a gesture that deeply troubles her mother, Birdy. Meanwhile, during a commonplace domestic matter, patrolman Paul Drake is unexpectedly dispatched to a horrific crime scene, where he must unravel a perplexing sequence of clues.
