Synopsis

Perry found himself obligated to defend a hapless young man from Britain. This boy, deemed a pop singing prodigy by some, possessed no discernible talent; he wouldn’t have stood a chance on a show like *American Idol*. Then, the shadowy promoter connected to the boy was murdered, and the would-be star became the prime suspect.
