Synopsis

Grover Johnson, through some subtle persuasion, convinces his significantly younger bride, Eula, to share his isolated ranch. Eula despairs of the desolate land and eagerly anticipates its sale. Fortune arrives in the form of Nelson Barcliff, a wealthy Texan eager to acquire the property. Yet, is this affable Texan truly as he seems? Or is he merely a pawn in an elaborate scheme devised by Eula? Regardless, both Eula and Barcliff meet untimely ends, leaving Grover facing a charge of her murder.
