Synopsis

In a quiet town, a young teacher of English, recently widowed, received a letter alleging inappropriate advances toward some of her male students. Yet, in a place where everyone knows everyone, the accusations seemed to weave through the fabric of the community. The principal, the lawyer, the doctor, the barkeep – all were somehow implicated. And then there was the oldest boy at the high school, a figure more akin to a man than a student, caught in the unsettling current.
