Synopsis

Hilde Fursten and Tony Osgood are employed at the San Diego Zoo. The disappearance of a newborn monkey prompts Dr. Walther Braun, a visiting dentist, to unfairly accuse Hilde Fursten. Boris Zelbowski, another zoo employee, is romantically involved with Frieda Crawson, Dr. Braun's nurse. Later that evening, Dr. Braun arrives at the zoo for a lion’s oral surgery and is discovered dead inside the animal’s enclosure.
