Synopsis

Hartley Bassett, the company's domineering president, returned home after a two-year absence, presumed lost. His first action was a dismissal: Peter Dawson was abruptly terminated. This immediately cast Dawson as the chief suspect when Bassett was discovered dead, two bullet wounds marring his chest.
