Synopsis

Mitsuo Kamuri has been spending considerable time with Grover Nichols, the son of the prominent businessman Hudson Nichols. Nichols disapproves of the association, and when Mitsuo is discovered with a string of valuable pearls belonging to Mrs. Nichols, the elder Nichols agrees to forgo prosecution on the condition that she end her meetings with his son. The situation becomes further entangled with the news of Mitsuo's uncle’s murder.
