Synopsis

Jockey Tic Barton finds himself deeply embroiled in misfortune. Initially dismissed after his horse is implicated in a fixed race, he is then accused of murder following a confrontation with Johnny Starr, the man who orchestrated the cheating. Adding to his woes, Tic’s wife has been unfaithful with the victim. It falls to Perry to restore order.
