Synopsis

Jack Hardisty, a man of dubious character, stole one hundred thousand dollars from his father-in-law, Dr. Blane. Driven by avarice, Hardisty then attempted to extort further funds from the doctor. Dr. Blane, realizing the gravity of the situation, engaged Perry to resolve Hardisty’s schemes. However, before Perry could intervene, the deceitful Hardisty was found dead.
