Synopsis

Major Frank Lessing, a payroll officer stationed at an Army base, was discovered murdered, and Sergeant Joseph Dexter was charged with his killing. The investigation centers on a payroll robbery that occurred in the Philippines years prior. It appeared that some of the stolen funds had recently surfaced on the base.
