Synopsis

Fran Celane finds her uncle, Edward Norton, unduly controlling in his role as executor of her father’s trust, a legacy designed to curb extravagance. He further insists she postpone marriage until her twenty-fifth birthday, a waiting period of eighteen months. Subsequently, Norton is discovered deceased, and the investigation quickly identifies Rodney Gleason, Fran's fiancé, as the killer.
