Synopsis

Daniel Conway found himself embroiled in a bitter struggle with Warner Griffith for dominion over an oil empire. Adding to the peril, Conway’s own secretary, Rose Calvert, was secretly working as a spy for Griffith. With Rose now deceased, Conway suspected he was being framed for her murder and sought out Perry at a bar association dinner, pleading for his assistance.
