Synopsis

The elegant dinner Della and Perry were enjoying at the French restaurant was abruptly fractured by a telephone call. Shortly after, an envelope arrived, bearing $500.00 and postmarked from a woman named Marian Fargo. The tranquility shattered further with the news that Marian’s husband and Sam Carlin, the man who had been blackmailing her, had both been found dead.
