Synopsis

Morey Allen, the restaurant owner and a friend to Perry and Della, faced a grim predicament. His waitress, Dixie Dayton, had been hit by a car while running from the establishment after noticing a man following her. All she managed to leave behind was a worn mink coat. When the stalker was discovered murdered, both Morey and Dixie were eventually arrested on murder charges. The case also had a disturbing connection to the unsolved killing of a young police officer from several months prior.
