Synopsis

Jennifer’s mother was arriving for a visit and insisted on meeting Larry, a prospect that filled Jennifer with considerable unease; she doubted her mother would offer him her approval. Later, an unfortunate accident occurred when Larry lost his footing on the stairs at the Chronicle, resulting in a period of amnesia which unluckily extended to the dinner where he was finally introduced to Mrs. Lyons.
